I love a good dressing! I love especially creamy dressings on salads (of course), veggie burgers, to dip french fries into, you name it.
The sad part?
My favorite creamy dressings have never been satisfactorily made natural and dairy free.
I will explain.
For years on years after going dairy free and more natural, I have missed out on my favorite dressings, while trying every “promising” and expensive gluten free and vegan dressing on the market. I lost money, and virtually all hope.
So I narrowed my desires down to two dressings.
I determined that I would be content if I could just get my hands on a good thousand island, and a good ranch dressing, please?
Well guess what?
I managed to conquered the first! And it is honestly better than regular thousand island dressing to me.
I never thought that I would make a recipe for dressing, honestly. But sooner or later, enduring let down after let down, enough was enough!
I got in the kitchen with the hubby, and came up with the best vegan thousand island dressing ever!
Just look at that creamy goodness!

VEGAN THOUSAND ISLAND DRESSING

Recipe type: Dips, Condiments, Sauces
- ½ cup of Follow Your Heart Vegenaise
- 2 tbsp of organic ketchup
- 2 tsp vegan cane sugar
- 2 tbsp sweet pickle relish
- ¼ tsp white onion powder
- ⅛ tsp celtic sea salt
- ⅛ tsp ground white pepper
- Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix well, or place and a blender and blend until smooth.
This dressing is so delicious! I know you will love it. This dressing may be stored in your refrigerator in an air-tight container safely for up to one week.
