Believe it or not, as I sit in front of this computer screen right now typing away, I am sipping on the yummy milkshake that I am about to share with you!
Mmm. So delicious!
I have hit a spot of stagnation due to moving (something I didn’t foresee between a giveaway and school), but realizing that this milkshake was just too good not to share, I developed the super human “gift” tonight to tell you not only who won the Bob’s Red Mill gluten free cookbook + the goodie pack giveaway, but also to share with you a recipe that I have admittedly held out on for some time.
It’s my absolutely addicting, almost daily blended Chocolate Almond Butter Bliss Milkshake. Talk about total bliss in a glass – ahhh! Just as good as my other favorite milkshake on here! The Coconut Almond Vanilla Milkshake I told you about last month!
Firstly, about those winners!
For the giveaway I selected winners that met the super easy criteria and whose health goals were inspiring to me personally.
I wish everyone all the best as they navigate through this year, but these two individuals specifically inspired me, and I just want to cheer them on into the future!
Those two are: Melanie J. & Patti T. <– You two are all about getting healthy and feeling good, and I want to support you in that. I hope you will get the awesome privilege to enjoy some free stuff from a brand that loves you and I hope you will as well continue to draw hope and inspiration from Sweet n’ Savory Life and Bob’s Red Mill :)
For everyone else, I will surely host more giveaways that will always be easy to win, so remember to visit often and *bookmark* this blog!
Now on to the recipe!
This recipe is pure almond buttery (can be peanut buttery too), chocolatey bliss in a jar – everything it promises in the name and some. It’s not icy, there is no overwhelmingly present banana flavor, it’s completely dairy free, peanut-free, healthy, and without compromise delicious!
I am not kidding you I love this recipe, and the almond butter brand I use is so pure, you will feel like you are drinking a little bit of liquid heaven.
Here is the link to the peanut-free natural brand I use. Click the link and find out why I love this brand, and why you will too (*this is not sponsored): Barney Butter
Seriously! Go give this milkshake a try!
- 2 very ripe *sweet* bananas
- 2 tbsp bare smooth almond butter (no sugar/no salt), I used Barney Butter
- 2 tbsp toasted carob powder
- 1-1/2 cup vanilla almond coconut milk, unsweetened
- 1 tbsp pure maple syrup (optional)
- Ice (about 1 cup or so to chill)
- Place all ingredients into a high-speed blender.
- Blend until smooth and creamy.
Now go enjoy some spring! Summer will be here before you know it! ~Bella
