It has the sweetness of bananas, strawberries, and vanilla yogurt, but a hint of tart blackberries that you will find refreshing to the tastebuds. I’m in love.
I was able to find some blackberries and strawberries for an excellent deal today, so I decided to stock up and share with you my treat. It is exciting when you can find organic blackberries and strawberries at the same time because honestly they pair so well together. Not to mention, they are packed with vitamins and antioxidants!
Can someone say healthy?
The best thing about this recipe is that it is super easy to make and can truly replace a breakfast or a mid-day snack as it is that satisfying. These berries were just so perfect that I even had to add extra chunks of strawberry and blackberry so as to not miss out on the flavors in their crisp, natural form!
What can I say, I love berries.
I decided to get fancy and place this smoothie in one of my pretty white German cup and saucers that I really got from Germany! Exciting, I know.
You will love this. Especially the extra twist of vanilla coconut yogurt that made it so creamy and coconutty too!
- ¾ to 1 cup dairy free coconut almond milk
- 6 oz. vanilla coconut yogurt
- 2 ripe frozen bananas
- 2 cup strawberries
- 1 cup blackberries
- Add ingredients to blender as listed, and blend until smooth!
Note: If the smoothie is not as cold as you would like, add a handful of ice to the blender, blend again until smooth and sip on it very cold! ~Bella
